On October 29th, various first and second generation Puerto Rican artists from around New York performed at a benefit concert for Puerto Rico held at Bard’s Sosnoff Theater. All of the proceeds from the event were donated to Taller Salud, Casa Pueblo, and Iser Caribe, community-based organizations to support the health and wellness of Puerto Ricans in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.
100 Days interviewed three of the performing artists on how they see their own art intersect with activism.
